Scotts By The Shore At Troon
|
Tonight our journey takes us down the west coast of
Scotland to Troon to visit Scotts.
Our destination tonight is a beautiful glass restaurant located on the
waterfront that looks out towards the Isle of Arran.
Scotts
has a sister branch in Largs (Scotts),
both venues are located near the yachting clubs down at the shores, looking out
across the water. This is a beautiful setting if you’re out driving before your
lunch or dinner (make sure you follow the correct roads, unlike Mr Sk and I- we
ended up on the other side of coast).
The menu offers a stunning selection of locally
produced items, catering to even the fussiest eater. From simple fish and chips
to lobster and steak dishes, everyone will be able to choose something from the
menu.
Both restaurants provide heated terraces allowing
guests to enjoy their food and drinks on the open terrace, which are secured
with huge windows allowing your food to be consumed whilst looking out across
the water. The drinks menu is one of the selling points; the cocktail list is
extremely impressive and never ending. The venues are that impressive I’m
positive if you weren’t to like what was on the drinks menu a drink would be made
and tailored to your own taste, the staff are that attentive.

The restaurants run their own promotional nights.
Various offers include dinner options, lunch options, breakfast options and
even afternoon tea comprising the most important item we all love to eat……cake!

Scotts Troon and Largs venues are part of the franchise Buzzworks,
which is made up of eight modern establishments, all known for providing
tremendous quality of food and drink. When opening the brand ten years ago the
company made sure only the finest ingredients were to be used in both food and
drink items from the best local suppliers.
The staff are excellent, very polite. The food is scrumptious along
with the delicious and yummy cocktails on offer but the drive is the best part.
When driving to Scotts we feel like
we are on holiday (obviously, only on a sunny day). There is nothing better
than on a day off or after an early shift going for a nice relaxing drive to
Scotts. The location of both venues in addition to how the restaurants are
designed, you feel like you are miles away from home.
