Bread Meats Bread In Glasgow

Now one place I do like to eat at is Bread Meats Bread. This restaurant is a burger/ hot dog joint, located at St Vincent Street, Glasgow. This place is calorific heaven but it is totally worth every single bite. For an IBS sufferer like myself it might not be so great for continuous visits but I still allow myself occasionally to go for a treat.

The Glasgow store of Bread Meats Bread was opened up in 2013 with the Edinburgh store opening later in 2015, after the success of the previous one. The wait for dinner or lunch can be lengthy, the branch in Glasgow can have a queue halfway around the block however it is worth the wait, I have been to Bread Meats Bread a couple of times and I have enjoyed every visit. It is perfect for couples on casual date nights, colleagues after work or friends catching up. It hosts a vibrant, casual and relaxed atmosphere.

The food served at Bread Meats Bread is delicious, it is proper hangover style food or when you really want a tasty bit of stodgy food, it’s just delicious! The Bread Meats Bread brand is very unique, there are only two branches with one being in Glasgow and the other located in Edinburgh. The Glasgow branch of Bread Meats Bread is a complete success with a queue constantly along the street and round the corner yet there are never any complaints of the wait because everyone who has ever been to this establishment knows the reward they are getting is worth the wait.

I cannot describe how delicious the food is, it’s extremely tasty. One thing I must warn you before your visit to the Glasgow branch is the restaurant is small and possibly claustrophobic depending the consumer. A few tables are positioned at the windows but they are mostly placed in the middle of the venue with bench style seats meaning consumers eat facing across from each other but are almost rubbing arms with the person next to them because the establishment is small.

Bread MeatsBread is a hot dog/ burger joint with a slight American/ Canadian theme to it and is mostly known for its numerous types of burgers (each dish is served with lashings of sauces and accomplices) on offer however the food joint is also very popular with Canadians (especially ice hockey players). The reason for this being the appealing poutine dish the restaurant serves. The creation itself originates from the Canadian province Quebec, its main ingredients are fries (chips), cheese curds (tasty strands of cheese) and lots and lots of gravy. It’s one of Bread Meats Bread most requested and infamous dishes.

The food choices are huge when served, warning all consumers you will not be able to finish your courses, no matter how tasty they are. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Prices to pay at Bread Meats Bread can be slightly higher compared to other burger establishments within Glasgow but the food is completely worth it. I introduced Mr Sk to BreadMeats Bread a couple of years ago before we went to a gig to start our date night. We go back now and then as a treat.
